527 Madison Avenue is pleased to announce an exhibition of paintings by Southampton-based painter Melinda Hackett in the Lobby Gallery through April 10. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, January 28 from 5–7 PM, at 54th Street and Madison Avenue. The show is open to the public 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Hackett creates worlds that exist between the familiar and the imagined, where organic space and shifting time come together in vibrant, layered landscapes. Her playful biomorphic forms float, spin, and hover across fields of dense color, weaving and intersecting through intricate repeating patterns. Hackett's paintings invite close looking, encouraging viewers to explore and discover their own stories within their richly constructed spaces.
